My name is Kathleen Stanley and I am the Director of Outreach at Roots of Faith/Faith United Methodist Church in Fox Chapel. My Primary focus is the Roots of Faith location. Before I came to Roots of Faith, I worked 10 years in the field of Family System Psychology. My background includes working at a local psychiatric hospital and working with families in crisis throughout Alleghany County. Roots of Faith began with a mission of addressing poverty in the Fox Chapel School district. I currently oversee all of the outreach programs at Roots of Faith. These programs include "The Neighborhood Table", "Circles Sharpsburg" and Social Services. I also oversee all community outreach such as produce and food distribution, legal and health clinics, Community disaster response, coat distributions, Angel Tree Christmas Program and more. I am currently on the Sharpsburg Tri-Boro Eco District Committee and I am on the Board of Directors at Second Harvest Thrift Store. On a personal note I have a daughter who is 28 and on her way to Medical School and my Son is 26 and owns a business repairing high end cars. I have a business refurbishing old furniture and I spend my free time hunting for sea glass on the shores of Lake Erie.
