We are thrilled to share that our inaugural Swing into Spring fundraiser exceeded expectations! On the evening of Friday, April 28th, more than 200 guests gathered at the Fox Chapel Golf Club to share in a common goal - to help bridge the gap between needs and resources for children in our community.

As a direct result of the generosity of our Fox Families Care friends, all the proceeds raised go directly to qualifying children and families who reside in the Fox Chapel Area School District. We would like to extend our deepest appreciation to ALL of our guests and supporters who ensured the success of the event.

There are many special people and community sponsors that deserve recognition for their unwavering support.

Due to the incredible matching gift of $25,000 from Susan and Alan Citron, we were able to exponentially increase the success of the evening!

Additionally, we want to extend our gratitude to the following sponsors who donated at the following levels:

Spirit Sponsors:

  • Baum Private Wealth Advisors

  • UPMC

  • Versatile Credit

Clever as a Fox:

  • Delaney Automotive Group

  • Ellsworth Equities

  • Fox Chapel Plaza

  • Golla ENT

  • Henne Jewelers

  • Russell Standard

Friends of FFC Sponsors:

  • Connected Health

  • Howard Hanna

  • Kolano design

  • Second Harvest

A special thanks goes out to Frank Fuhrer Wholesale for donating the beer, My Garden for the beautiful floral arrangements, and Fox Chapel Golf Club!

The night wouldn’t have been complete without the musical prelude by Fox Chapel High School’s string quartet, the energetic performance by the cheerleading squad, and the enthusiasm from the student volunteers.

As our very own late Fred Rodgers so eloquently shared, “We live in a world in which we need to share responsibility.  It’s easy to say, ‘It’s not my child, not my community, not my world, not my problem.’ Then there are those who see the need and respond.  I consider those people my heroes.”

With gratitude,

Fox Families Care Board of Directors
